After graduating from high school in 2009, I attended Kirkwood for veterinary assisting and worked in that field for a couple of years. After a while, I decided that dealing with the blood, needles, and sick animals wasn't really for me. I wanted a profession where I could work with people and make them feel better without having to deal with the blood, so that ruled out the nursing profession.
I attended Carlson College of Massage Therapy in February of 2012 and graduated in August of 2012. I have only been working as a licensed massage therapist for a couple months, but I'm constantly working on my technique and improving it with each massage that I give.
I would say that my style is a blend of the general relaxation massage and deep tissue/neuromuscular work. I tend work with medium to deeper pressure but can give lighter pressure accommodate you.
My goal for every massage session is to provide relief from the pain you come in with and relax your mind and body at the same time.

Ashley worked on me a few weeks ago, and she was fantastic! I thought she was going to have a light touch since she's one of our newer massage therapists, but she actually had really good deep pressure... just right, in fact. I was very pleased!
